Meet Rick Nicholls

Rick was born and raised in Chatham-Kent. Rick was first elected to the Ontario Legislative Assembly in October of 2011 and after winning elections in both 2014 and 2018, is proud to still be serving as the MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington.

He has served as Critic for Tourism, Culture and Sport, Community Safety and Corrections and on Standing Committee for Governance. He is currently the Government Deputy Speaker and uses his experience from refereeing sports to keep order in the House while it is in session.

Rick is kept busy between his duties at Queens Park and his two constituency offices in Chatham and Leamington.

This past election in 2018 the riding was enlarged and now includes Pelee Island and parts of the Township of Lakeshore.

Rick also finds time for his family, his wife Dianne, little Yorkie, Sebasian, two sons, a daughter, all married and 5 grandchildren.
